time for tea numbah two! i just love my english breakfast w/ tons of half & half in it...can never get enough. it comforts me to know that while sitting in my little cube, looking thru cute fashion blogs, i can sip on my steaming hot cup of tea goodness.
sooo, today i get to go to my very first sample sale!! woohoo. me and a few of the other intern ladies are going to go down at 4pm to line up at the showroom doors and then race in and dig like animals for bags and wristlets and cashmere winter goods that will cost anywhere for 15$ to 100$. this is so very exciting. i came to work today, just for this...and to get paid and do some work, i suppose. yay! so, i have been given the task to buy the ladies in my life some nice things...and it's all up to me, since i have no camera phone. hmmm. so much to pick from, leathers, white, black, suede, c's, or no c's, smallish, man baggish (ya i might just have to do it to ben! haha), tote-ish, furry, feminine, or even ugly. i've been hearing that some of the ladies got some real jems yesterday...ya know like the limited edition bonnie cashin 60's inspired bags...or the houndstooth bags...
my fellow interns and i think that since it will be "last call" at 4 pm, that we'll get the real deals. maybe they'll bring out the boxes for us! woohoo. wow, this will be so fun. i love bargain bin hunting.
so i bought the dark brown old navy boots, for as cheap as they were theyre def a good investment. we decided that i look like a 70's mom who's going out to shovel snow. now all i need is a giant wool carigan that comes to my knees! anyway, i like em!
also, have been learning some really fun things in illustrator....makes me excited! i also have a plan for meghan's b-day invitations in the works. it's gonna be fun to make as well...i want to start on that tomorrow. b/c today, it's time to get the HW done!
