what you notice here are lovely bright fall colors. once again, i like the idea of wearing your summer and spring clothes in the fall and winter. par example, the tights under city shorts, paired wih the open-toed sandal. lovely. by the way these are from paul smith's collection. i also like the mismatchedness.

i'm currently reading palahniuk's CHOKE, and it's keeping my attention pretty well. i last about 20 minutes or so reading it on the train, then comes the sandman, and i'm out for a nap. i want to purchase aimee bender's new novel or her short story book(s) today at lunch, or maybe tonite on my way home.

i also want to purchase some new music. i want to get Jem, Blonde Redhead, Kelly Clarkson and Built to Spill.
wanna know where i surf everyday?? i love thebrilliance.com. a new fav is theapt.com. they have design-oriented news and they're a sweet company in soho. i wouldn't mind moving into the new loft they converted from a YMCA. it's pretty sweet. i noticed the ASPCA have really great ads up in the subway. the bright orange square really caught my eye. i'd love to adopt my little boston terrier from them...maybe someday when i have normal hours and a little yard.
