I went to my friend's housewarming party in New Haven on Saturday night, and snapped a photo of two cute fellow party goer's who were wearing their florals quite well. The drop waist dress and summer boots are always cute and easy. Check out meghan and sarah below!

I managed to snap a quick picture of the party dress I wore to the party. Sorry about the poorish quality of the photo but my apt was too hot to bear!

Siren Fest

I didn't attend Siren Fest at Coney Island this year, but after any sort of festival in the NYC area I like to look up the street style shots that were taken. In this case, they were the boardwalk styles at Coney Island. You can check them out here at style.com

Charlotte Ronson has such a cute California vibe. I of course love how she always uses pink in her collections. I was excited to check out her line for JC Penney, thinking maybe I could snag a cute floral dress. Check out the photos for the line. What do you think?

Alice in Wonderland

The Alice in Wonderland trailer is up online and I can't help but be excited about it. Alice in Wonderland (the people version) has always been one of my favorite movies. Remember that one? It was from 1985. Check out the images below.

The Grates

I went to see the Australian band The Grates play last night at pianos
for one of their first residency shows. And I went to support my
friend who's playing with them on their US tour. You should check them
out if you get a chance; they are a really fun bubble gum pop kind of
a band! I of couse always enjoy checking out what the two ladies
(patience & alana) in the band are wearing.

sneaks and dresses

Yesterday on my way downtown i passed a girl who was wearing a simple blue sundress and a pair of red high top converse. Still to this day that is one of my favorite looks. kawaii on my mind...still

I still have a bunch of fun photos to post about Japan. However, the below 2 were taken this past weekend at the beach with my family. I think that my favorite app so far on my new iphone is the Puri! Lite photo embellisher. I couldn't resist kawaii-ifying my nieces.

I love this Heather ad. I've always had a weakness for sock and heels.

NJ fashions

I hope everyone had a relaxing 4th of July weekend. I went down to the jersey shore this weekend for a family vacation/reunion. I love the jersey shore for many reasons; surf shops, sailing, the beach of course, ice cream outings, water ice, wawa, 7-11...you get the idea. I also love kitsch and tack!!!
