Just when I thought I reached the end of the WWW...I find this.

craft fairs!

Well I found out that I was not accepted to Philly Art Star's Craft Bazaar...boo.

However, on a happier note, I was accepted to Indie Craft Experience's Atlanta show! Woohoo! So, this is my first craft show experience as a vendor. I dreamed of being a vendor just a few short years ago while attending Crafty Bastards in D.C.

A lot has to be done in the mean time, like make stickers, labels, figure out cute packaging, buy fabric, make abblesauce dolls....

let crafting season begin

I applied to 2 craft fairs, both take place on the weekend of June 2nd. One is in the Indie Craft Experience in Atlanta and the other closer to home, is Art Star Craft Bazaar in Philly. I hope that I get accepted to at least one!!! I find out by Saturday on both.

Also, still anxiously awaiting news from Fred Flare's Next Big Thing....I may just have to enter my full Abblesauce line in order to get at least one thing chosen!!!

I have a bunch of vintage ebay stores bookmarked on my computer, but there's one that I always go back to. It's Calico! I absolutely love the photos they post...and of course the clothes are really great. They have a brick and mortar store in New Bedford, MA...you can check out the website here. They sell vintage and designer clothing and accessories. And for calico vintage check out their ebay store.

fun to dos

Must subscribe to Lula and must buy a good (easy) sewing book. I'm not sure which sewing book to buy...I know there are tons of great ones out there. The time has finally come that Abblesauce will be making a nice little studio/sewing &craft corner in her apartment!! This means its time to set up my computer, my sewing machine and its time to add more fun things to the abblesauce line! Cannot wait!

I almost bought these Tory Burchflats the other day. Boy am I glad I didn't, b/c I found these delia's flats, that look quite similar. I think I'll be purchasing the latter.
