happy new 2008!

as the new year sets in we often think about resolutions. i'm not one for resolutions, but this year it's interesting having my own business...it makes me think about in which direction i want abblesauce to move. i'm really excited to say that i'll be taking a basic sewing construction class, so abblesauce will eventually have bags, dresses and skirts! it's also really interesting seeing how my taste evolves and how that steers the direction of the abblesauce aesthetic.
i'm excited to sew and use my hands to make things again.

at the moment, i'm most inspired by designers like princess tina. i'd have to say that i love adorable and quirky clothes the best! she's really developed a cute/fun/artistic lifestyle brand.
