* i washed a newly printed tee and there was no color bleeding...NONE! woo hoo! phew.
* i've decided to move on with the stenciling of letters debacle, by going for a different lettered look. i'll show soon!

well, i guess it's about time that i get a little marc jacobs into my wardrobe. i've loved these mouse flats for quite some time and i noticed them on ebay last night at a pretty low bid price. so, i figured i'd use some of my birthday cash and try to go for the win. well, the bidding closed today...and i was the big winner!!! man ebay gives me such a high.

progress

we have some progression. these are shots of what i was doing last night in my studio (my bedroom). tonight i will take the next step and seal the dye with an iron. then i'm planning on doing another coat of paint on each design i started and then sealing that layer the next day after its dried. this may take some time, b/c then i have to add all the other parts to each design. my designs are sooo colorful. its a pain, but will definitely pay off in the end. i can't wait to see the professional looking end results.
